Shipping & Handling

Processing Orders
We process orders daily. It usually takes about 24 to 48 hours once you place your order for it to be processed and shipped. Orders placed on Saturdays and Sundays will be processed on Monday.

Free Shipping
We provide free shipping for all orders over $99.00, excluding taxes. Free Ground/Express Mail Shipping within the continental U.S.  One offer per order.  Shipping within the contiguous USA. If an order qualified for free ground shipping is returned, the customer will be responsible for the initial shipping charge. The returned product will be refunded minus the Ground shipping charge.

Shipping Rates
Our preferred shipping method is UPS.  Shipping rates depend on destination, weight of your order and shipping method. The best way to determine the cost of shipping is to place the items you wish to purchase into your cart and start the checkout process. Before you finalize your order you will be presented with the shipping options and charges for your order.

Overnight shipping is available for orders placed Monday – Friday before noon, PST.  Overnight orders placed over the weekend will be processed and shipped the following Monday.

Return Policy

The Island Shop explores tropical islands all over the world in order to find the best products available, and we hope you love everything you order from us.  Unfortunately and without exception, we cannot accept any returns on opened cosmetics or fragrances, apparel that has been worn, or any skincare products that are more than 20% consumed (studies show that allergic reactions happen within the first 15% of a product’s use).

Should you be unhappy with anything else you’ve ordered, please return it to The Island Shop within 30 days with your original receipt, and we will be happy to refund or exchange your order.  When items are purchased as a set, we can only accept returns of complete sets, not individual items.  All refunds are credited to the original pay method.  It takes up to 30 days to process the refund and credit your account.
